The Job
Based from our Coventry service hub the the job holder will be part of a friendly team of service engineers providing waste collection from our customers through out England.
A company 3.5 tonne van is provided with an average day of 200+ miles round trip from our Coventry base / home. A typical day will have on average 5 customer service pick ups with a minimum 40 hour week. There is opportunity for flexible days of working and generous overtime rates for, early start, night and weekend work.
We provide planned maintenance service for our commercial kitchen customers. You will use vacuum equipment and small tools to carry on site maintenance of grease traps with manual handling and removal of waste. Additionally, you will be involved in waste management from customer’s sites, transport and environmental storage and disposal of the waste collected.
Our office based operations team set up and confirm your daily and weekly jobs and route plan via a mobile App. This requires the service engineer to follow this route specific plan using and update the mobile app at the start and end of each job.
A large part of the job is driving to and from customers locations with physical and manual handling of equipment and waste during the customer sites service visit.
Applicants with previous experience of grease trap servicing, wastewater management or similar onsite commercial kitchen service / delivery is preferred.
Job applicant must have clean driving licence, enjoy driving and be happy to work alone and as part of a team with the minimum of supervision.
You must be able to follow a timed route plan to and from customer locations with many of our customers in major cities across England.
We are looking for reliable individuals who have good customer service skills with a calm problem solving approach to customers and job completion.
You will be able to understand and use mobile phone job planning and completion apps, small tools and vacuum equipment provided.

Key requirements:
Clean driving licence
Preferred Multiple drop / collection driving experience in large cities
Long distance driving
Excellent time keeping and time management
Good problem solving skills
Experience of waste management or drainage
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Must be reliable, phsicially fit and active.
Some early morning, late evening and weekend work

Job
The jobholder will be working with the companies' UK wide customer base. They will be responsible for providing scheduled service and maintenance for grease traps and grease management systems.
Job Holder Requirments:
There is daily waste manual handling with driving on motorways and city centre locations. The successful candidate will be able to show they have the skills to do the job role along with good time management, clear communication skills and the ability for lone working with the minimum of supervision.
Experience in a similar role, providing planned service for grease traps, drainage and or waste management service or maintenance for commercial kitchens would be an advantage although not essential. Our business is expanding with an immediate start date for the successful candidate and further job opportunities.
These are full time roles, however, part-time and flexible working including specific days, evening and weekend work are available to suitably qualified individuals.
